HI, My name is JOY OPOKU
I am the founder of Daughters Of Defense (DOD). DOD isn’t just a catchy name; it’s a call to rise. It’s a movement to equip Christian women to stand strong, defend themselves, and never back down from spiritual or physical battles. Why is it so important for women to be spiritually equipped? Because in Genesis 3, Eve wasn’t attacked with force—she was attacked with strategy. The serpent didn’t use a weapon. He used lies, twisted truth, and manipulation. And Adam? He stayed silent—the one called to cover and protect her didn’t speak up. Eve was left exposed—spiritually vulnerable and unprepared for the enemy’s tactics. That moment wasn’t just about a piece of fruit. It was about what happens when we’re unaware, unequipped, and unsupported.

And that’s still happening today!

The enemy still whispers. He lies through culture, circumstances, and people—sometimes even through harm inflicted by others. That’s why physical self-defense is also essential. Because while the spiritual battle is invisible, its effects are very real. When we’re unequipped, we’re vulnerable. And when we’re vulnerable, we risk repeating the Eve Cycle: deceived, defeated, and afraid. But not anymore!

If no one’s ever taught you how to fight, you’re not here by accident—we’ve crossed paths for a reason. I’m a woman of faith and prayer, and I believe God has called us to be alert, armed, and unshakable. There’s a battle happening every day—both seen and unseen. I’ll help you recognize it, understand it, and fight back with truth, wisdom, and courage. Because you have the right to fight. You’re called to stand your stand. And through Christ—you already carry the victory. Stay close, Daughter Of Defense. Together, we’ll become both saved and skilled in self-defense.
